Beth Whitmore shares Vinyasa Flow Yoga for beginners each Sunday morning for 75 minutes from 09:30 am. A six week course of creative, flowing and moving sequences of yoga for people who wish for a more dynamic experience that connects movement with breath.
You can expect creative sequences of sun salutations, balances, bends and relaxation, all to a great soundtrack.
She would like to welcome everyone to her class and although classes will be energetic, the course will build strength, familiarity and confidence over the 6 weeks.
Meet Beth -
"Hello I'm Beth and I am a qualified 300 hour yoga teacher based in Ryde on the Isle of Wight. I began my yoga journey in 2015 when I attended my first ever yoga class in a London leisure centre. I remember lying in savasana (final relaxation) after an intensive practice and feeling exhausted, but deliciously calm and free. At the time I was struggling with an eating disorder and yoga became my refuge. I would attend a weekly session and that hour of freedom from the mind and nourishment to the body, became instrumental to my road to recovery. From that moment on I knew that I needed yoga in my life, and I dreamed of one day becoming a yoga instructor and this year I made that dream a reality. What a privilege it is to be able to hold space and to help others nourish their bodies and minds."
